  • 2 chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Start by gathering all the necessary ingredients for the recipe.
  • Heat a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add oil and allow it to heat up.

  • While the oil is heating, prepare the chicken. Cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.

  • Add the chicken to the hot oil and cook until it turns crispy and golden brown. This usually takes around 5-6 minutes.

  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
  • In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Sauté for a minute or until fragrant.
