Ingredients
  

  • sesame oil
  • unsalted butter
  • minced garlic
  • minced ginger
  • chicken stock or water and chicken stock cubes
  • light soy sauce
  • dark soy sauce
  • sriracha hot sauce
  • Chinese rice wine or sherry
  • light brown sugar
  • white pepper
  • cooked chicken breast
  • instant noodles
  • spring onions
  • hard-boiled eggs
  • carrot
  • black and white sesame seeds
  • chilli oil or chilli paste optional

Instructions
 

  • First, heat sesame oil and unsalted butter in a large saucepan.

  • Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute. Then, add chicken stock, light and dark soy sauce, sriracha hot sauce, Chinese rice wine, light brown sugar, and white pepper.

  • Stir everything together and let it simmer for a few minutes. Next, add the shredded cooked chicken breast and cook for a few more minutes. Finally, add the instant noodles and cook for 3 minutes.

  • Serve the ramen in bowls and top with spring onions, hard-boiled eggs, carrot strips, sesame seeds, and chilli oil or chilli paste if desired.
